It is at this time, and after walking on the Major League Baseball Diamond for the past 34 years, I must walk away.
I feel very humbled and blessed that I was born into, and grew up around, this great game that I love (Thank you Mom & Dad). My memories of being a part of so many wonderful moments and events will be forever cherished.
I would like to thank MLB and the many great umpires and partners I learned from over the years, and all the fans that make this game the greatest game in the world. I would like to thank administrative assistant, Cathy Davis, for all her hard work and dedication to the umpires for over thirty years.
Finally, I would like to especially thank my wife, Marcia, and my children Eddie, Brooke and Brett for letting me go out and play and to live the dream!·
