Five AAA umpires to work their 1st Major League spring training: Damien Beal, Delfin Colon, Angel Campos, Shawn Rakos, and Todd Tichenor.

Campos, Rakos, and Tichenor will be joining returning AAA umpires Ramon Armendariz, Rob Drake, Adam Dowdy, Chris Guccione, Brian Knight, Mike Muchlinski, and Travis Reininger in Arizona. Beal and Colon will be joining AAA and non-roster umpires Scott Barry, Kevin Causey, Dusty Dellinger, Mike Estabrook, Chad Fairchild, Troy Fullwood, Chris Griffith, Tom Hallion, Ed Hickox, James Hoye, Adrian Johnson, and Casey Moser in Florida.

During the season, Beal works in the International League while Campos, Colon, Rakos, and Tichenor come from the Pacific Coast League.
