Bruce Froemming will work behind the plate and serve as the crew chief for the 78th All-Star Game, Major League Baseball announced.

The All-Star Game will be played at AT&T Park in San Francisco on July 10.

Froemming is in his 37th year as an umpire, the most consecutive years of service by any umpire in baseball history.

It is the third All-Star Game for Froemming, who was part of crews in 1975 and 1986.

Froemming will be joined by 18-year veteran Charlie Reliford, who will be at first base, along with Mike Winters (second base), Kerwin Danley (third base), Ted Barrett (left field) and Bill Miller (right field).
